CMDB Fundamentals is a 3-day course taught both as Instructor-led training (ILT) and Virtual Instructor-led training (VILT) in multiple time zones throughout the world.
Demonstrations
Instructor-led demonstrations are integrated throughout the course to help students solidify the concepts covered in class.
Additionally, the on-demand content features over 70 demos, covering topics such as designing, configuring, ingesting, governing data, and extracting insights from the CMDB.
Course Flow
During this three-day interactive training course, students should be automatically registered on Now Learning for the Configuration Management Database Fundamentals on demand course as this will act as the student online guide for the course plus provide access to the simulators used in class.
Attendees will have access to the ServiceNow platform using an individual student instance, which is a “safe sandbox” plus receive a Windows Server that acts as a MID Server with access to targets used to run Discovery and Service Mapping. In addition, students receive simulator instances to work through a series of tasks designed to reinforce CMDB Configuration and Health principals.
