IIBA Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK) Certification Prerequisites

The IIBA® has set the following business analysis work experience criteria for applying to sit their Exams:

  • ECBA™: 0 years
  • CCBA®: 2-3 years
  • CBAP®: 5+ years

Two hours of reading per night will be assigned during class.

IIBA Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK) Certification Information

  • Attendees receive the BABOK® Guide version 3 and a set of study cards used with exercises in the course and later as a study tool.
  • Students receive access to an electronic question bank to continue studying for 90 days.
  • At the end of class, students have the opportunity to take a practise exam designed to match the question breakdown of the ECBA™. You will receive included access to Learning Tree practise questions for 3 months.

The IIBA® requires some professional development training before sitting for the ECBA exam. Please refer to your regional IIBA website for more specifics on professional development training.
